Audioengine A5+ Wireless Speakers

It’s hard to improve something that already works and sounds awesome, but what if there was a way to make something great at least a touch better?

Enter the Audioengine A5+ Wireless Speakers– a slight reimagining of the classic A5+, the A5+ Wireless Speakers takes one of our flagship models and makes it even more versatile than before.

Audioengine Background:
The A5+ Wireless is a descendent of the Audioengine 5 speakers, which were Audioengine’s first speaker model developed in 2005. With backgrounds working for companies such as Apple and Harmon/Kardon, the Audioengine founders set out to create a set of speakers that delivered great sound without having to spend an arm and a leg. The original A5 sported two mini-stereo inputs and an RCA output to connect a powered subwoofer, which made it easy to setup with a variety of sources from a computer to the iPod. From there, the company has grown to offering a variety of products for many different rooms and lifestyles and has even broken into the Bluetooth market, all while maintaining the original goal of producing great sounding and easy to use products at an affordable price.

So what has changed in the overall design of the A5+ Wireless? We still use the tried-and-true design of the A5+s, just with some slight modifications. Most noticeably, we changed the tweeter design from the off-centered design to a centered tweeter placement. Just like the A5+s, we offer the Audioengine A5+ Wireless Speakers in Satin Black and High-Gloss White MDF cabinets as well as a solid Bamboo cabinet option.

First and foremost, the Audioengine A5+ Wireless Speakers feature an aptX HD Bluetooth receiver built directly into the speaker. This will allow you to stream any audio from your phone, tablet, or computer directly to these speakers. No extra adapters to purchase, no special app to download- just connect to the A5+ Wireless Speakers through your devices’ Bluetooth settings and you’re good to go! Along with the built-in Bluetooth receiver, the A5+ Wireless retains the dual analog inputs as well as the variable RCA output featured on the original A5+; this means that any source that has line level outputs, such as a turntable or computer, can be easily connected to the A5+ Wireless.

If you already have the A5+s and want to get that same Audioengine sound with wireless connection, or if you’ve been eye-balling the A5+s for a while and need an excuse to buy new speakers, the A5+ Wireless should be a welcome addition to your home. You can purchase it directly from our website and enjoy perks such as free Fedex Ground shipping, no sales tax, and our 30 Day Audition Period. SHO
